HOW I WORK

Psychotherapy offers you a safe place to spend concentrated time on yourself to explore your thoughts and feelings together with someone who will listen without judgement or an agenda. People seek out therapy for many different reasons. They might feel stuck or held back in their personal or professional relationships, they may have recently experienced a crisis in their lives, they may feel overwhelmed or may be dealing with grief, loneliness, anxiety, earlier trauma or just a general sense of unhappiness.

My hope is to offer an open minded space of warmth, respect and compassion, where anything that is on your mind at the time can be explored together at your own pace. Every client that comes to therapy is unique. As an integrative therapist I draw upon a range of models to work with each client according to their individual needs.

I believe that a strong and trusting bond between therapist and client is the foundation for positive change. The therapeutic relationship can make you more aware of unhelpful patterns in your life and may guide you to develop new ways of being. In weekly sessions I work with clients towards a deepened self-acceptance and supporting them in finding out what is right for them.
